sooooooooo?

i thought it was fairly easy- the question that gave me the most trouble was the one about the subscription and the ¨obsequios¨. anyone have any idea if the curve will be anything like the ones used in the review books like princeton review?

I killed it. Probably got 3 wrong at most. (Well, I lived in Ecuador for a year, so this really isn't bragging because it would be pathetic if I didn't kill it.)

I'd like to know about the curve too.

I didnt know the one about the cobertura or something. And the question about the traje and the man that is discreta..i put raro but i wasn't sure.

What else...the question about the author...and el grito? Was it like his fight against human nature?

I think other than that...I scored really high. I lived in Chile for a year.

impossible...5 years of honors/ap spanish, retartedly hard.

the cobertura was the cell phone coverage. they offered more chat time (charlar) than the others. for the traje i put transparente because i think the question referred to him being indiscrete or something (hence a see-through ¨costume¨. i think i did well too but ive been living in spain for the past 4 months lol.

Agreed, Jeremybeach.

Let's get the fill in the blank passage about the female singer who loved to sing and wanted her fans to live her songs and become more happy.

Some of my answer choices were aun, unico, justo, and los que.

Also, was the one about the subscription "revista?"

i put down revista too.. btw I thought unico/justo were answer choices for one question?? what were the answers for the passage regarding the mexican greeting.. there were these questions about the purpose of it and what mexicans see greeting as.. i said it was to teach them to salut... and that it was like a ceremonial practice...

regarding the question about the nobel prize winning book i also marked down the choice that contained sth like human nature..

btw I thought the answer for the traje was sencillo cuz he wanted to be discreto=discreet/inconspicuous the answer choices were raro/llamativo/transparente/sencillo ---- the first three call attention upon the person don't they? that was sort of my reasoning...

what was the curve like on this test in the past? I don't think I missed more than 5.

the answer choices were justo, triste, increible, and something else for one question, the other was absoluto, unico, and two others that were wrong

i also put ceremonio ritual. wasnt the japanese one about the guy talking about his time and place?

yeah i put revista. about the mexican greeting passage the general gist of it was that its a custom, they like both greeting and being greeted, its a way of judging how popular someone is, etc. i didnt remember putting anything about teaching the greeting i think for that question i marked something like ¨showing how important a cultural habit is¨. i had lo instead of los because i thought it was referring to the mensaje (message). ¨lo único (mensaje) que quiero...¨ didnt think unico was an answer choice? i dont know if i put justo or not cant remember that question

edit: maybe im remember the questions wrong if so then i know i put unico for an answer. for the ritual ceremony i chose something like ¨se refleja en su patria¨ (reflecting on his patriotism/country)...im 90% sure time and place wasnt right and he was talking about time and place but only in the context of japan, the answer was more literal than that.

i put unico... on that

yea, that test was easy. thank god.

is ya no subjunctive? the question was ya no (form of existir)

i dont think so. i put existe. it was saying that already it doesnt exist so it was stating it...not saying that it might not exist. so i dont think so.

ok that's what i put too

was the one about how the kids never attended school after elementary school "asistieran" or "asistieron?" Basically, imperfect subjunctive or preterite?

I put asistieron. I saw no use of the subjunctive with that.
