I’m not sure if I’m totally missing what the question is asking, or what, but I was about to lose my mind after I couldn’t figure out this question!

F(x) = x^2 - 1 if x > 2 and x + 7 if x <(or equal to) 2
What is the range of F?

The range of the first should be f > 3 and the second should be f <(or equal to) 9 right?

Yah you are correct. So, the answer should be all real numbers–I believe.

im using the sparknotes book too! Does anyone know if it is similar to the real SAT II?

The Sparknotes is more realistic to the real test than Barron’s.
I would have been just as prepared by only using Sparknotes.

Just make sure you learn your trig, and know it well!

Yeah I thought it was all real numbers, but sparknotes says it’s y>(or equal to) 3… maybe they made a mistake
