Hi i had a very simple question: i am an italian senior whos looking for aid in order to attend us colleges; do i have any chance to get a sport scholarship even if (of course) theres no one that can check me out here?

Coaches recruit myriads of players starting in their sophomore and junior year of high school. Many prospective student-athletes practice the art of self-recruiting, which is contacting coaches on their own in their respective sports, sending in tape, film, references, awards, records along with GPA, extra curriculars and SAT/ACT scores. If you begin to do this immediately, you may have some chance to play a sport in college. In addition, the NCAA requires registration for any Division I sports, and there is a lengthly process in order to be qualified academically for these two divisions. If you intend to play at a Division III school, the NCAA requirement will not be applicable. Time is of the essence. Go for it.

Yes, send tapes and stats to coaches.
