<p>gotta question, on the appl, it says "check this box for the sport your being recruited for", or something very similar. </p>

<p>now, i emailed the coach and he said, (this was over the summer), to send in a video and we'll go from there, and that he could help wioth admissions, Ive called him, emailed him, and havent gotten a response. Now its getting late and i just wanna apply. I dont want to lie though, so should i check it off? As being recruited,? im not soo sure what to do, its my #1 or 2 school. I have low stats as it is, 1070 3.0.</p>

<p>It doesn't sound like you are being recruited. Marking the box would just be an indicator to the adcoms that they need to handle your app in a special way. They would contact the coach and ask how much he/she wants you. As it is, I wouldn't mark the box. If the coach contacts you later, I'm sure that he/she could go to the admissions office and take care of it.</p>
