Hey everyone! Are you a Spring 2011 girl admit or transfer student looking for housing in a USC dorm? My friend and I are currently freshmen at USC who are trying to move out of university housing next semester. I live in Pardee Tower and she lives in North Residential college. Both of us have great roommates, and these two dorms are by far the most popular at USC--they are very hard to get into in the Fall semester, and even more so in the Spring! They are both right on McCarthy Quad.

North:
This dorm is the most social dorm at USC. There is a large Greek population, but even if you don't intend to rush there are plenty of people who aren't in sororities that live there. It is a great place to make friends, and if you are the social type, this is DEFINITELY the dorm for you. New/North is the most requested dorm for freshmen at USC. It is right next to the cafeteria EVK and the floor is co-ed (bathrooms are separate). My friend's roommate is super sweet and plays soccer so she is not in the room all that much. This room comes with a desk, bed, mini-fridge, microwave, and a SINK!

Pardee:
Pardee is the high-rise dorm at USC and is also highly requested. We have an elevator! Pardee dorm rooms have a slightly different layout with one long desk facing a huge window on one side of the wall. My window looks out over the Alumni house and garden. Pardee also has a microwave, mini-fridge, and bed. The floors alternate boy-girl, which I think is nice because you don't have to worry about running into a guy on your way to the bathroom/shower. However it is really easy to make friends with the guys on the floor above or below, and I have a ton that I hang out with regularly. My floor is super close-knit and everyone is extremely friendly. Pardee is not as much of a "party" dorm as North, but I like it because literally any type of girl can fit in--on my floor there are party girls, girls who don't party at all, and girls who do both! Everyone is really accepting and it is quiet enough to do homework in your room.

Please message me if you would be interested in either of these rooms! Act fast though because like I said, a lot of people want to live in both of these and it's rare to find an open room.

Congrats on getting in to USC!
