<p>“Results will be finalized after acceptance.” Is a message I have as of now from the Office of the Registrar. Any speculation on the kind of decision I might get?</p>
<p>lol that is weird! first of all of course its a joke u don’t even have my email or anything to send the picture. How is that offensive to women by joking and asking to send a pic? if u have a problem in ur life don’t take it out on me! just said it to lighten up the mood but thxs for taking all the anger and pain in ur life out on me. A complete stranger on the internet.</p>

<p>Also, did you email the registrar? I just sent them a message saying I’ll retake any courses that don’t transfer, just please hurry up with my application.</p>

<p>I just wanted to add its that remark wasn’t in any way intended to devalue a woman. Just a lame joke. I was shocked with the animosity of the response. if what i put on my post was offensive then just say so. How am i to know that joking and asking a girl for a picture was a way of devalueing them.</p>
<p>@cytochrome,I did not email the Registrar. The Registrar did send me an email with that info at the same time saying that they have notified the Admissions Counselor about it. So, my guess is that since it was the course evaluation that was holding back the decision, Admissions should be able to now release their decision. One, I think the admission is a two step process; the first step is to evaluate your GPA and any other factors only known to the Admissions. If the Applicant passes their threshold with courses that are already in their system, then they issues the decision. However, if the Applicant passes the first step threshold with courses that are not already evaluated, the Admissions then goes ahead to request for course evaluation. On a light note, there could be Applicants without a threshold or near threshold with courses already evaluated, this pool could be wait-listed under the guise of “File still under Review” so that if those accepted defers the admission to the next term, they can accept those on the wait line.</p>
<p>Two, we are so late into Spring 2013 Semester, barely a month away. College transfer requires a lot of planning including finances, apartment search, immigration Visa ( For International Students) and familiarizing with the environment. It defeats the logic if at this point, people are still wait-listed. Those already accepted have until December to secure their spot. </p>
<p>That is why I think, the decision should be on the way. FOLKS, this is my analysis and not the official position of GT or anybody else.</p>

<p>What do we do once we’ve been accepted? How do we mail in payments, sign up for classes, etc…</p>
<p>You need to pay $ 200.00 via your BuzzPort to secure your Spot. Go to BuzzPort —> Home Tab—> Pay Now-Bursar —> Make a Payment. In your Bursar Account, it should show the amount you need to pay. I think this should be done Before December 1st.</p>
<p>Congrats to everyone who got accepted. Do y’all know anything about how housing will work? I know we need to pay a $600 deposit for housing by December 1, but does anyone know which of the dorms transfer students are typically placed in? Also does GaTech have singles for transfer students, or will we have a roommate? Are y’all planning on living on or off campus?</p>
<p>I’m pretty confused about the housing too. I’m just gonna put a payment down… I’m sure the dorms are alright.</p>

<p>@Olala12, thanx for asking. GT completed my Course Evaluation yesterday; so, the Admissions Counselor said it will take 7-10 days for them to make a decision. It stinks but I have to keep waiting. And you? Ready to move to Atlanta? I cant wait, I fell in love with GT when I visited sometime this year. I love their ECE curriculum and feel I will be more successful as opposed to any other school given my Interest in Combining the ECE and Computer Science courses in developing a background in Trading Platforms. What was your major Again?</p>
