Spring 2013 UF Transfer Acceptance/Rejection

Oh man congrats!, now if only I could be next T_T

@EileenM Thank you! My major is Food and Resource Economics, and I have a 3.5 college GPA. (60 credit hours) I am going as a transfer student.

Do any of you guys know what you are going to do for housing?

Hey did anyone else get a email saying that you were accepted from HHP? It’s from the head advisor of my degree but it hasn’t changed to accepted on my Isis…

i emailed the advisor and she said that i should see a change in my ISIS to accepted within 24 hours! so if anyone here is trying to go to HHP, the first wave of acceptances come out soon!!

anyone knows about the geology department at uf?

Anyone hear back yet? I’m still waiting on Warrington to give me a decision. I heard from a rep that as long as you have a 3.5 pre-req and a 3.0 overall GPA you’re guaranteed admission. Can anyone confirm this?

Anyone attending the Nov. 30th preview? I have registered for that one.

Still waiting to hear from CALS…

I love how CALS waits until the very last minute…I applied in May! I have heard from every other school, even the ones that I applied to last minute…

If any girls are looking for an apartment to live in your first semester at uf please let me know. I actually need someone to live in my apartment space in the spring. It is extremely close to campus and youll have your own bedroom and bathroom. Its at 2nd Ave Centre.

I turned in my application to CALS in early September, and I’m STILL waiting to hear back! I’ve talked to two different advisers who are confident I will be admitted, but have told me to just be patient and wait to hear back. My status has been changed for a month now on ISIS, but haven’t heard a peep since. This is getting ridiculous! Anyone else experiencing this?

CLAS* (These last few weeks of classes are really doing a number on me lol)

CALS admission decisions are all out already. CLAS usually does theirs before CALS, I’d call the person who makes the decisions…

I got a hold of one of the advisors who said that the CLAS just came across my application and that I should know by this coming week or so. Apparently, they’ve been behind with all of the advanced registration. Fingers crossed.

Hey guys, I applied in early September and still haven’t heard from UF. It says that my application has been referred to my college for a final decision. Does anyone know the email of the undergrad/transfer advisor for physics? I couldn’t find it on the dept. page. I’m so nervous, I hope everything goes well. Good luck everyone!!

So, I’ve left 4 messages with the secretary at CLAS over the last 2 weeks and haven’t gotten a call back. How difficult is their job? I mean maybe I’m being unreasonable, but when someone needs answers and it’s your job to supply them with said answers shouldn’t you be doing your job? This is completely ridiculous! Now I have to wait another week until I could possibly know anything! It’ll be nearly December before these people make a decision. I’m sorry for ranting, but my God this is frustrating! Has anyone else had this problem with UF, or does almost everyone know whether they have been accepted/rejected?

I was thrown all around with CALS told I was accepted then told I wasn’t… and treated very badly by Ms.Matthews, very rude person! Good luck with UF!

…Just checking in to say I checked my status tonight, and I got accepted.

Major:Geology
GPA:3.9
Credits:60+

But sadly, I don’t think I’ll go because I recently changed my major to Petroleum engineering and I got accepted to Texas Tech University for Spring.

Do any of you guys know if you can change majors after being accepted, I might go there if I could do Chemical Engineering or other engineering.

My advisers have told me once you’re accepted to UF you can’t change your major:( Perhaps it varies within each college?
