Spring 2015 Applicants Unite

@emart95 congrats!!! You applied for the same major as me right? Hope to see you there & maybe have class together!!!

@emart95 Thanks for the encouragement :), hopefully I will also get in…

@xokikixo‌ Yes! We probably will lol! Also, have you been able to apply for housing yet?

@Myaa90‌ No problem! I hope so too!

@emart95 Hope so!! and I’m not applying for housing. I live not too far from the city so I’m gonna be at home!

@xokikixo‌ Ohhhh okay. Well that’s still awesome!
And anyone else who is planning on living on campus and got an acceptance, even if you’re international, how is the housing application process? I will have to wait a couple days before I can start it and I just don’t know what to expect. Is it online? Can you pay online?

All of you guys that didn’t get accepted for the marketing major should still apply to LIM it’s still in Manhattan and is a great school as well . Even though I want to be a designer , I’m going to apply to get my AAS in merchandising and still take design classes . Never give up , this just means there’s something better instore for you personally and also congrats again to everyone that got accepted  remember to always have a second plan.

@Rikki1‌ Note that they are more expensive though, because that can be a deciding factor for some. I started to apply there and stopped when I found out I needed letters of recommendation because I didn’t have the patience for them.

Yes they are . It’s private .

@emart95 Were you accepted for the 2 year AAS spring 2015 or the advanced 1 year? I haven’t heard of anyone getting accepted for the spring 2 year program yet and that’s the one I applied for.

@emily413‌ I applied to the 2-year program. I don’t think I even knew that AMC had a 1-year AAS. @xokikixo‌ did you apply for the one year or the 2 year program?

Hi guys!
I got a wait-list letter from the school today. This happened last smester ( fall 2014) when I applied to FIT for the first time as a senior. Oh, and my major was fmm (2 yrs)
wishing the best luck to anyone who has not got their letters yet!

@emart95‌ i applied for housing and yes it is online and you can pay online  it is really simple. you have to fill out ur name and id blablabla and the only “extra” thing they ask is ur music taste (if im remembering right) and you can put ur roommate’s name if you already have someome in mind.

@limjuliana Okay, thanks! That makes me excited now I just have to wait for FIT to get my form.

to anyone whos gotten a letter already, has the date on letter always been nov 18? and to those who got accepted…has the deadline for the tuition deposit been dec 3? im hoping i get my letter today i live on long island but i always seem to get mail a day later than everyone else.

@emart95‌ what form are you talking about?

@mduffy33‌ I think mine was dated november 12 and the tuition deposit was due nov 27th… but i’m an international student. I think international students were the first ones to receive their letters since we have to get a visa and stuff

@limjuliana Domestic students have to send an enrollment deposit form via the United States Postal Services (snail mail) that they sign and include a check, or credit card information with it back to FIT. That’s what I’m talking about.
@mduffy33, US students’ letters seem to have been dated the 18th and the enrollment deposit & form must be postmarked by December 3rd. That is how long they will hold your seat in the program.

@emart95‌ ok thank you so much. hopefully my letter will come today then!

@emart95 oh ok i did 2 year FMM but haven’t heard back yet…so is that bad lol.
