For those people that got into arguably "better", higher ranked schools, what made you choose St. John over them?

I got into St. John on full scholarship (still gotta pay room and board) but I also got into UC Berkeley as a Spring Admit. With financial aid both schools come out to around the same price (since I live in CA). I am completely torn between the two. I would be pursuing CS at Berkeley and Economics/Marketing at St. John (aiming for MBA program and a career in the fashion industry)

any input would be appreciated ^^

S’18 chose StJ over Marquette and enrolled two weeks ago. He truly loved both schools and either one would have been a good fit for him but in the end, StJ just “felt” right. I’m honestly not a fan of using college rankings to make a decision bc they are based on what other people think you should look for in a school. Much better that you should rank them according to your own criteria. But do ask yourself if you are excited and ready to journey across the country for a college adventure…some people are, some aren’t. Congrats on your acceptances! And best of luck to you!
