Spring Class Schedule Advice

Hey guys!

I scheduled my next semester as:

Eng 102, my 2nd English class ( 5 essays required with some little hw )

Biology 101, introductory class ( weekly quizes with the occasional labs and the midterm and final exam)

ECON 201 Macroeconomics (online course, i'm not sure about the workload)

HUMA 100 theatre appreciation ( not sure about workload but i assume their are some papers)

So, its going to be 12 credits overall, do you think its enough or should I add a fifth class like history 101 or intro to political science?

Thanks !!

15 credit hours is pretty standard. If you don’t have a lot of other responsibilities (namely work), then I’d add another class. How many are you taking now and does it feel too little or too much? That information could help guide you.

Add another class so if you really don’t like one of your classes you can drop it and not go below 12 credits.

I would definitely advise adding a fifth class in case you need to drop one. Dropping below full time can hurt your financial aid and it’s safer to leave the option open.

Looks good! Adding another class is a good idea, that way you have the option of dropping.

I think you should take into consideration whether your higher level classes will be more difficult in your major. I would sign up for 1-2 more classes to get up to 16-17 credit hours and drop them if necessary. I just think it’s better to take more classes in the beginning, and get the easier, more basic classes out of the way, and then have lighter courseloads later, with harder classes

I agree that you should add at least one more class, if not two. That way you can a.) have the option of dropping a class and b.) stay ahead on your credit hours. If you only take 12 credit hours now you might have to take 15-18 per semester in the future so that you can graduate on time.

Hey guys thanks all for the input!

SCHEDULE CHANGE!

I’m thinking of taking macro and micro next semester together so I won’t have to take micro next and instead take an easy class, do you recommend it?

so NEW Schedule: Eng 102, Biology 101, Econ 201 macro, econ 202 micro.

any insights on the new schedule class? is it doable to take macro and micro at the same time especially with Bio ?

micro and macro share a lot of similarities. I got 5 on AP micro. I knew Nothing about macro because I dogged the ***** out of my senior year, and I still got a 3 on the AP test. You should be fine.

Are macro and micro both online? Those are two classes I would think you would want a good prof. for. Or even a TA or GSI or something.

But there is some overlap between Micro and Macro, mostly fundamental concepts like supply and demand.

Yes sir they are both online classes.
