15 credit hours is pretty standard. If you don’t have a lot of other responsibilities (namely work), then I’d add another class. How many are you taking now and does it feel too little or too much? That information could help guide you.

I would definitely advise adding a fifth class in case you need to drop one. Dropping below full time can hurt your financial aid and it’s safer to leave the option open.

I think you should take into consideration whether your higher level classes will be more difficult in your major. I would sign up for 1-2 more classes to get up to 16-17 credit hours and drop them if necessary. I just think it’s better to take more classes in the beginning, and get the easier, more basic classes out of the way, and then have lighter courseloads later, with harder classes

I agree that you should add at least one more class, if not two. That way you can a.) have the option of dropping a class and b.) stay ahead on your credit hours. If you only take 12 credit hours now you might have to take 15-18 per semester in the future so that you can graduate on time.

I’m thinking of taking macro and micro next semester together so I won’t have to take micro next and instead take an easy class, do you recommend it?

so NEW Schedule: Eng 102, Biology 101, Econ 201 macro, econ 202 micro.

any insights on the new schedule class? is it doable to take macro and micro at the same time especially with Bio ?

micro and macro share a lot of similarities. I got 5 on AP micro. I knew Nothing about macro because I dogged the ***** out of my senior year, and I still got a 3 on the AP test. You should be fine.
