Spring Transfers

Hi,
I know absolutly nothing about financial aid. My parents took care of filing all the paperwork at my current college.

Im transfering to Northeastern University from my school in NY.

How does this work?
ANY info would be appriciated, even the most basic..

ugh im so confused

You need to call Northeastern and talk to someone in the financial aid office. You need to do this because the info you need is too specific to be well covered anywhere else. Northeastern does not cover 100% of need, and my experience with this school is that money can be tight even for fall entrants. You can offset some of your costs with jobs through their famous co-op program. But call NE and ask what you need to file (or if you can just resurrect a copy of your original FAFsA) to get financial aid. FInd out what is available if anything for spring transfers. What are the deadlines? This will give you a good start.

I guess typically there is less money for the spring?

I am definitly going to call northeastern but figured I'd get as much info as I could before I do..

Thanks again

Did you call Northeastern? If so, what have you learned? I'm waiting to hear on my fin aid pkg for Spring 2006.
