SSAT November + January Score HELP!

So I took the SSAT today (November 14, 2009) and I was wondering if I'm not happy with my score, I could take it again in January.

Would it be too late to take it on January 9th again because the score release date is after the application deadline of January 15th (for all the schools I'm applying to).

And also, even if I took the SSAT again in January, would both scores (nov. and jan.) go to the schools?

thanks! (:

Yes, you can retake it in January. And if you only send in the January one, that’s the only one the school can see. Can you take the December one in your area? I was signed up by my school to take the November and December ones and I don’t know your situation but my school’s secondary school admission counselors meet with you and then help you decide which one to send in, or to send in both.

Have you received the November score report by email? I took the 11/14 SSAT and wait for the report by email. Just ask if anyone receives the emailed report. Thank you.

Schools have them already

I’m guessing we’ll get the scores back tomorrow maybe?

The site said we don’t get them until December 3th 2009 (correct me if I am wrong). I wish they came earlier.

@Urbanflop.
That’s the latest they can come. In the October test, the results came I think about 4-5 days earlier than the expected date. Also, the scores went to personal email four days after they went to schools so that’s why I said 24th.

You could take the December 12th one instead of waiting until January to retake it.

for the Dec. test, i was able to register only as a 2nd wait list. Does anybody has any experience of getting a test as a wait listed? Will i be able to take the exam on the day?

Don’t worry about the December test. Just register for January. And the schools generally say that they only consider your highest scores - so if your math score on one test is better than on the other, they’ll take the high score, regardless of whether it was the first or the second test you took. Same with every other section of the test.

So relax, prep for January, and spend the December test date with your prep book!

The thread is a year old?..

I would do what dodgersmom said
