I just took my SSAT. I think I did pretty well in Math and Verbal, but I know i did ABSOLUTELY terrible in Reading Comprehension. I know that SSAT scores don’t matter too much in the application, but it surely must make an impact given that it’s a requirement in the application. I’m taking the SSAT again in November. If anyone has tips about how to do better in Reading Comprehension, message me or comment, I would appreciate any help. I’m also hoping to go to Exeter (it’s not the only school I’m applying to, but it’s my favorite), so is there any score that could pass as the “minimum” there?
Hi! I am also hoping to go to Exeter and just took the SSAT. I somewhat agree with you. I have taken lots of practice sections, and I though that reading was MUCH harder than anything I’ve seen (cough poem cough) but verbal and math were relatively easy. Good luck and I hope I meet you at Exeter if we both get in.
@bumblebee1212 No, I don’t think there is a minimum but try to get around 92%, exter’s average SSAT score. I’m also applying to Exeter and taking the ISEE in November and January. Any tips on verbal?
