Ssat scores not sent?

Why didnt andover receive my son's scores? They went to the other schools a month ago. Andover asked for a resend but not until after the deadline. Did any one else have a problem with andover? Why do schools ask for a resend? Are they looking for more information like if the test test was taken again?

I expect the office staff is going through each file, double-checking that all required documents are there. Hard to say why they didn’t have the scores (perhaps they were sent, but got mis-filed - the crush of mail/documents in that office this time of year must be crazy!). This should not hurt your child’s application - the review process is going on right now, and I expect something like this is not out of the ordinary. Good luck!

We just received another e-mail today saying they hadn’t received my son’s scores. I think they must have lost them, because it shows on the SSAT site, that they were sent, and all the other schools received them, which is why I ignored the first e-mail.

We had a similar problem with Gateway. Certain people didn’t receive their recommendation requests, and they had to be resent. This is an argument for doing everything in October or November, but that’s not how we roll…

I called Andover and they just requested it again. The admissions lady did it while I was on the phone with her and told me I was all set.

We had same problem with Andover. SSAt scores sent to all schools in mid-December. All schools but Andover received them. Checked SSAT site and confirmed that they were indeed sent to Andover. We ended up sending our own downloaded copy of the score report directly to the interviewer.

I called SSAT this morning and they said to have the school check their “member access page,” so I e-mailed the interviewer and told him to do so. He got back to me, and said the file is complete --I’m guessing they have so many applicants it’s hard to keep track of all the data.
Applying for FA, and they have been accommodating and timely in every communication thus far, which hasn’t been the case elsewhere – makes you pay attention.

Same problem here with Andover. The AO I spoke with by phone said that as long as my son had submitted to them through the Gateway website, they could go in and retrieve the scores themselves, since other materials were submitted thru the site. Hope that helps.
