Hi,
I've only seen one "official" example of the new type of (story) essay topic available. Can someone please give me some other examples that are in the ballpark without stating exactly what the topic was, which I understand is against the rules?

thanks!

bumping this. Maybe recent test-ees would be willing to share. Again, not looking for the exact question, just an in the ball park idea…
thanks.

Most SSAT tests are composed of metaphorical questions in which you are asked if you agree or disagree. Ex: Haste makes waste

This is what I am referring to, taken straight from the SSAT site:

“For the Upper Level, students are presented with a choice of two prompts (one creative, one essay) from which the student will choose one.”
and
"Upper Level Directions:

Schools would like to get to know you better through an essay or story using one of the two topics below. Please select the topic you find most interesting and fill in the circle next to the topic you choose.
Sample Topics:
If you could do something over again, what would it be and why?
He couldn't believe they wanted his help. "

I took the November 10th test and it was a lot of fun. I decided to go with the creative writing option. Some examples for creating writing are:
-He couldn’t believe they wanted his help
-The silence was deafening
-He was hanging on by a thread
