SSN mistake on FAFSA

I submitted my FAFSA this past weekend and received an email saying it still need my parent's signature to process it. My parents and I tried to sign but it kept giving us an error message and I realized I inputted the SSN for the parent signing wrong by one number in my FAFSA.

And I helped make a pin under the incorrect SSN and have since deactivated it and created a pin under the correct SSN

I'm thinking about calling the financial aid center tomorrow to see if it can be fixed. Is this the right way to go? Should I also contact the PIN center and get the incorrect PIN removed?

Very lost and confused. Help is very much appreciated.

You can ignore the PIN with the incorrect SSN. Use only the PIN with the correct SSN from now on. Update your parent SSN on the FAFSA to correct it, then sign with the PIN connected with the correct SSN. If the student SSN is wrong, you shouldn’t just update it on FAFSA (you should contact the schools) - but when the parent SSN is wrong, you should be able to update it with no issues. So … go into your FAFSA to make corrections. Fix the SSN. Sign with your PIN & with the “good” parent PIN. Try it & let me know if that works!
