Does anyone know anything about this scholarship? My son was offered this scholarship as part of his financial aid package. Are the work requirements burdensome? I don’t think I would have a problem with him accepting this scholarship if it won’t interfere with his studies. I am cognizant of the fact that even though he is a good student, college will be a period of adjustment for him. Also, what are the dorms like for those students accepting this scholarship? Is this a somewhat competitive scholarship? Also, I know that the 2012-2013 tuition fees have not come out yet but does anyone have any idea what those costs might be? My son is an out of state student and we are trying to decide between Ohio State where he will need to take out a loan every year and where his dad and I will need to come up with a good part of his tuition , and West Virginia University where after his scholarships and the money that we have already put aside for him, he won’t owe anything after 4 years. Ohio State has also given him 2 other scholarships-the National Buckeye and the Provost Scholarship. If he goes to Ohio State, his dad and I will still need to come up with another at least $6000-$9000 a year based upon the projected COA and my son will also need to take out a loan of $5500 each year-this is all, as I mentioned, on top of some money that we have already saved and put aside for him for college.

I received the Stadium Scholarship as well and I have yet to see anyone else with it. I saw the dorms they are very new with AC by where the Nursing building is on south. Its probably the most southern on campus. Supposedly they have people work for about an hour a day which isn’t bad for me. I work 12-15 hours a week while in school now.
