**Stanford 2019 Deferred REA Applicants**

Denied. Oh well, what are you going to do. I still know I’ll be happy at either Berkeley or UT

If you are deferred, you will be getting into some other great schools, so it really is an accomplishment!

Got in today, so excited!!!

Me too! The wait was hard though!

DD got in!
For future deferees: in December thru mid-January you will busy yourself with polishing the apps that you were working on while waiting. The month of February will be the longest month in your life. But have faith that your deferral at this school meant something and do your best to get even better grades and send in an update letter. For DD much happened with ECs after the initial deadline and I think it made all the difference.

I was unfortunately rejected from Stanford RD. It is extremely disappointing, especially since it has been my dream school since the 7th grade, but I have other options available to me. I will continue on from here to see where life will take me.

It has been a fun ride, but I am glad that is finally over. Congratulations to everyone that got in, and good luck to everyone with the rest of your decision days and with your college experience!

Rejected, but the ride was really amazing. It was nice toughing it out with y’all deferees. To add on to advice, You’ve got to work on other apps. If you were deferred from Stanford, chances are you will have so many great choices in the end. Get used to a lot of your friends not knowing what a deferral means lol. Also, completely agree with @myyalieboy‌ , February is god-awfully long. Just hang in there. Don’t lay waste to your EC’s. Finish off strong and go after them with you same enthusiasm you initially started them with. And have fun senior year. Just have fun, because you are going to end up at a great college next year, no matter Stanford’s decision.
