So you did REA for harvard princeton and stanford… good luck with that
Rejected, but still so glad I at least tried
Deferred! Better than I was expecting, I guess. Congrats to everyone who got in!!
Can everyone with decisions post stats here:
@SeattleChick I guess it was a bad sign I didn’t get an interview in Seattle. 2250, 35, 4.0, Denied. Oh well.
@SeattleChick wow… that’s amazing… CONGRATS! do you mind sharing your stats in the REA thread? My scores are a little lower than the typical “2400 SAT” student, and I’ve been worried a lot about it. Clearly stanford cares about more than just scores
For all of you out there who are disappointed with your deferral or rejection, just know that this isn’t the end. Colleges do not have the final say in your life. There are many other places out there that will be glad to have you and you will do amazing things wherever you go! Stay strong, keep your head held high, and keep on moving forward! Best of luck to everyone!
ACCEPTED! I looked exactly at 4 and was surrounded by my favorite teacher and amazing friends… I really wasn’t expecting it and I’m incredibly grateful right now :D/
Does anyone know if with acceptance into Stanford if they tell you then how much they can contribute for financial aid?
@ThatGirlCoder of course! and it seems like Stanford really does holistic review. and btw, go girl coders! I’m hoping to major in computer science
Also, to all those riding the boat that is rejection, if anyone asks if you got in, just tell em Malala took your spot.
@SeaJake I’m sorry Both my interviewer and myself were located in Renton if that makes a difference
@ThatGirlCoder I just posted
@SeattleChick WAIT A SECOND?!?!?!?! YOURE IN NCWIT TOO!@?!?!?!
@SeattleChick … and girls who code… OMG WHO ARE YOU!!
@ThatGirlCoder whaaaat! We need to connect!
Here are the stats for EA from the Stanford Daily.
The REA admit rate continues to drop: Class of '17 (11.9%), Class of '18 (10.8%), Class of '19 (10.2%), Class of '20 (9.5%). It’s now about equal to what the OVERALL admit rate was for the Stanford Class of 2012.
How’s everyone doing?
kinda sad got rejected, but hey at least we tried right? Thinking about how to improve essays for regular decision applications
Honestly still shaking. I haven’t gotten home yet but as soon as I do I’ll post my stats at the results thread.
