***Stanford Class of 2020 Deferred Thread***

@Lovemydolphins I guess we’ll find out eventually. They announced the REA date just two days before they released the decisions. Have they historically ever released before the Ivies though? Because those are confirmed for March 31st.

How’s everyone holding up? Where have you guys gotten into so far?

Tops that I’ve gotten into so far are UChicago and Northwestern. STILL PRAYING FOR STANFORD

Did anyone here apply for financial aid and submit documents through IDOC? If so, did your IDOC deadline for Stanford change? Back in February when I was uploading docs, it said Stanford’s deadline was 3/1/16 (which is for REA). First week of March, said same thing. Then, when I checked again in the second week of March, it said the deadline was 4/1/16 (which is for RD). I realize that when you’re deferred, you get to follow RD dates, but do you think there’s any reason they waited until the second week of March to update my deadline to the RD one? Did this happen to anyone else?

hey guys. I’ve been looking through last year’s deferred thread for Stanford and apparently a few deferred students were able to create a SUNet ID and log onto Axess on Stanford’s website. This ID was on their defer email, so I was wondering if anyone here got that?

@elysian1 On the deferral letter it doesn’t say anything about a SUNet ID, just my Common App ID

@elysian1 - If that was as big of a deal as you say it was, then I would guess Stanford would have noticed the error and fixed it–but this doesn’t mean there isn’t another loophole somewhere else…

Stanford twitter confirmed today that they are updating status applications on March 25, 3 PST. Good luck to all

We’ve waited so long… can’t believe were going to find out soon

I am an absolute nervous wreck right now. :’(

@elysian1 Me too :((((((((((((( :(((((((((( :((((((((

I GOT IN!!! 5 FREAKING MONTHS AHHHHH

Same!! Deferral sucks haha

Does anyone have info on what the deferral acceptance rate was this year? I know in the deferred letter it said 15%, but I’m wondering if that has gone up or (most likely) down since the overall acceptance rate has dropped to sub-5%

AHHH I made it! Right when I gave up all hope tbh

@JLurkin I definitely thought I’d be rejected too! The odds are sadly not in the favor of the deferred

Sorry to revive this thread, but where did u guys end up going?
Sincerely,
Defered 2021

@guy1234 really really late response here but also Stanford

Exactly what I want to hear lol. I hope I am just as lucky.
