@yayarea459w Definitely possible, but maybe like 2 or 3 applicants a year, and they almost certainly need VERY extenuating circumstances to have a chance. At the end of the day all of these schools are academic institutions, so they usually disregard such low scores like that.
@CollegeEndeavor Ah it’s all speculation and reasoning there so no hard sources (ironic considering my username lolol). If only they’d release the profiles for REA applicants like they do for RD.
When will we have an official number of applicants that applied REA? I assume it will go up from last year.
IN past years there was a press release the Friday before the 15th that gives all the numbers. I would love to know if anyone has any idea what percent of the REA pool gets DEFERRED to RE pool (without knowing if they will get in or not). Anyone?

@alexameagan21 See I can’t really say Stanford is my choice since it’s such a highly selective school, they have to choose me. Plus, if you say it’s your number one choice and get (most likely) rejected, it will destroy you

@alexameagan21 Let’s just say my realistic second choice is UC Berkeley. Possibly have a full ride waiting for me there if my Stanford/ivy hopes don’t work out
@Chips99 Ah funny thing is that SC was my dream school literally for YEARS but after growing up a little and being around the campus more I started to really dislike it…Still a good school though.
Columbia or MIT are probably my second choices.
@CiteYourSources Hmm may I ask why? Fwiw, UCB/UCLA would totally be my second choice(s) if not for the fact that they don’t do financial aid for OOS kids, hah
