Stanford Class of 2022 Discussion/Decisions

accepted!! having an out-of-body experience as i am writing this

good ole rejection

rejected

rejecteddd tears but congratulations to everyone who was accepted!!!

For those receiving rejections on the early-action admission plan, does your application move over to the applicant pool for regular decision? Or, does it mean that you’re rejected from getting into Stanford, and that’s the final decision, whether early-action or regular? Just curious.

The application only moves over if you got deferred. Rejection means its the final decision.

rejected means rejected, but deferred means moved to the regular pool

@chucktaylor1 no, rejection means it is final. what you are describing is a deferral. Stanford apparently defers very few people compared to HYPM

@chucktaylor1 rejected means you are done. Deferred applications are viewed again. Stanford rejects more than they defer

accepted this is unreal!!!

Accepted! Haha just kidding i got a 12 on the ACT and accidentally submitted my application about a month late  but i can just attend in my mind >:)

Guyssss I JUST GOT ACCEPTED OH MY GODDDDD

rejected!

@chucktaylor1 Unfortunately, once you’re rejected, I believe that’s the final decision and there are no further opportunities for admission… :frowning:

To everyone who was rejected Please do not stress or worry

I’m in shockkkk

Rejected + kind of bummed but I know it’ll be okay in the end. Congrats to everyone!

Deferred, did anyone else get deferred?

I also got deferred! seems like a lot fewer people get deferred.

REEEEJECTED.
