Honestly I don’t know if I feel better or worse now. Either way I’m glad it’s a week earlier than expected
My school’s college advisor told me that on Thursday Stanford is calling him to talk about my school’s applicants. Does anyone know if this is happening for anyone else’s school? It’s weird because I feel like that’s pretty obscure… my school is SUPER small ( 70ish seniors) and in the midwest.

Do you think? I feel like they’re only calling because my school is really high preforming. Only 3 people (including me) applied. Do you really think someone got in? I feel like Stanford wouldn’t necessarily call the college advisor before the release date. Does anyone know why they might be doing this?

@fritzy00 My college counselor told me the same thing. They called to speak about applicants, and I go to a really small school (class of <90). However, I think I’m the only one who applied to Stanford REA.
I haven’t heard anything about that, but then again I haven’t talked to my counselor in about a month. She’s really busy writing other letters and I can’t fit a meeting in :-q
Do you think that means someone from out schools got in? It’s weird that they’d be calling the day before the release date. And just think about how many schools have kids applying. There must be some sort of selection process right?
I have no idea, but honestly hoping for the best! My counselor told me that the call was yesterday and it is basically formatted for counselors to vouch for students. But I’m also confused with the timeline… I would think they already have the decisions.
Do you guys know if they contact big schools where a lot of people(~10) have applied?
I live like halfway across the world, so I’ll be waking up at 4 am on a saturday
i think for some select schools with a large amount of kids applying, who p much achieve at the same level, they would contact them and kinda get more of an inside line on who they want. Also they have not finished applications yet, they put down 7th of december because they are on the last stretch of applicants and they still need to complete theme. These are probably the schools they cal, the ones who still have unreviewed applicants
In my school, im the only one applying to Stanford. Plus my interviewer said that only a couple kids in my geographic region are applying, lets hope this lack of competition really helped me out

Have you guys been getting any emails from Stanford recently? I haven’t received anything since I submitted my application.
i received one about diversity a while ago but that’s it

There’s a rumor going around that if you got that diversity email, then you got accepted lol. Obviously the chance of that being true is next to none but I wanna test it when decisions come out.
I think the diversity emails came out too soon after Nov 1st for them to have had decisions yet to determine who to send the emails to
