Stanford + Senior Year AP Tests w/o Stanford Credit

I’m a rising senior. Obviously, I haven’t been admitted to Stanford yet, but let’s pretend for a moment that I have been.

I’m taking three AP classes as a senior: lit, bio, and stats. Stanford will not accept any of these AP credits regardless of how well I do on them. Do they expect me to take the AP tests anyways, since they expect you to take the AP test for an AP class in any other grade, or can I save the money and just not take them?

Once accepted, you’re not required to take any APs. Yes, you can save the money.

No, AP doesn’t play a big part in Stanford admissions, particularly if the test results come after admission decisions.
