<p>In the Short responses section, the character limit is 300, but the question asks us to write in "two lines or less"(which is approx. 80 characters only). What should I do?</p>
<p>I believe that the “two lines or less” limit is in regards to the “Print Preview”/PDf version of the application NOT the text inside of the textbox on the Common App website. That makes the 300 character limit a lot more logical, at least.</p>
<p>My suggestion – check out the print preview and go by that.</p>
