I was wondering if anyone was notified to complete the IDOC (which is all the parent tax verification) that is due on April 15th and if so how and when?

cupcake,

I received a reminder from the CollegeBoard on April 8th to send my stuff into IDOC, but no requests from Stanford itself. If it had been from Stanford I might think something up, but since it was just from the CollegeBoard I think it was just a simple reminder to get my stuff in by the due date.

Did you get something?

Oh okay, ya I was worried that I had not been contacted by either the College Board or Stanford but I finally got through the IDOC phone line and found out that my CSS Profile was processed incorrectly. :( I freaked out but everything is okay now. Now since Stanford has a "need-blind" admission policy they do not review any financial documents until after acceptance (or rejection) correct? How do we find out if we are accepted or not? Do we just wait for the mail? And does anyone know what exactly qualifies as mid May?

Oh and does anyone know when they will begin reviewing the application? And how will we be notified of missing docs?

cupcake,

Reviewing Financial Aid: My guess is you're right, they probably don't do anything significant with your financial aid docs until after you've been accepted.

Notification and date: In general, by e-mail. They'll give us a heads up a week or a few days in advance as to what date/time they'll be releasing decisions. They we get an e-mail which either tells us whether we've been admitted/rejected, or tells us how to find this information online. Last year was May 15th, but this year they finished Freshman admission 3 days early so I'm personally hoping for a little earlier for us. They've probably been reviewing our applications since they finished with the Freshmen, although they might still be just processing everyone's materials.

Missing Docs: We'll be notified by e-mail sometime "soon".

You might check out the Stanford '08 Transfer Thread, if you have any other questions they might be answered there.

Good luck. (;
