Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

just saw it today! I wish they wouldve had Han Solo in it somehow, but i see that wouldve been hard since he would have been a toddler lol. Still, it was a great movie! I feel so bad for anakin X-(...

ya the movie was great.........i really liked how you could see the beginning proto types of rebel ships and empire ships ie. x-wings, a-wings, star destroyers, etc. in the opening sequence

I didn't like the saber fight between obi wan and general grievous because I didn't like general grievous at all. I couldn't understand what he was--a droid, a human, an alien? I didn't like his animation or his voice. It just seemed way to fake to me. It is cool though how he wields so many sabers at once. It is funny becaues my neighbor works for lucasarts, I live like 15 min. from Lucas' house....and my neighbor did that saber scene between obi and grievous. He said it was really hard to keep the same colour saber for each hand on grievous. He also said A LOT of the film was left out and that he was shocked to not see so much more that he did.

Well, all the more reason to get it when it comes out on video. How long do you guys think it will take before it's released?

I think General Grievous was a smoker.

It was a pretty good movie and I like the burnt body of Anakin because fairly realistic

Sir Watson...you live next to Lucas's house? How cool. Like near Skywalker Ranch or something? You should get your neighbor's autograph. Haha.

General Grievous is an alien in the shell of a droid. The reason he was coughing was because Mace Windu crushed his chest in (It was in the Clone Wars animated series on Cartoon Network). I can tell that a lot of the scenes were cut out because it felt somewhat rushed. Anyways there are sites now that say which scenes have been cut out and there are a lot. They should make an extended edition much like the LOTR series. I wish... Anyways the DVD should come out around November-December. I'm going to watch it again for round 3 next week...should be even better.

It was really, really sad when the clones turned on the Jedi :'(

good lord it alluded so heavily to frankenstein in the vader "nooo" scene that i began to laugh aloud. also the corny love dialogue. i loved the movie. I LOATHE cristensen. he is an idiot with no stage presence or facial expressions. he can only smile stupidly or scowl moodily. might as well be the member of a boy band. I love Darth Vader, but they didn't do him justice by casting that idiot....i still loved the transformation of anikin into vader, piques the morbid fascination in me. Man i want to join the dark side. Besides, i was especially happy to see cristensen's face replaced with the helmet. I like to say that I find Darth Vader incredibly alluring....but on second thought, it's probably just James Earl Jones' voice paired with the sexy suit....i don't want the mangled wimp inside.

it seems like anakin's transformation into vadar took a grand total of 5 minutes lol. a) stitch on legs/arms b) cover body with suit, c) outfit helmet.

also, when vader asks how padme is doing, once he is inside the suit.....argh it's simply to die for :) so uncharacteristic of vader....i love for a big cold dignified villain to expose his infirmities.....hehehe....i have a crush on vader. and on steve buscemi. but buscemi would make a nasty vader...though not nearly as bad as woody allen-darth vader
.

yea the movie felt....compressed.

Brilliant movie.

:)

I live in Marin County, which is a small province where Lucas lives. He owns a ranch with like 2000 acres in Lucas Valley (It was called this before he moved). I live like 15 minutes from his estate. My friends go to school with his children and people see him at the mall and stuff. I never have. If I did I wouldn't get an autograph. I am not that type of guy. But his business, Lucas Arts, is a great present in our community. In fact, he just bought the Presidio in San Francisco for his company. A lot of the terrain of Sonoma and Marin County, mind you this is all a tad north of San Francisco, was used in the first two episodes. We have the green hills here.

I LOVED IT!!!!! Then again, I am a die-hard star wars fan!

My favorite line:

Padme: "I love you"
Anakin (Vader?): "LIAR"

My Favorite Line:

Vader: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

:)

YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!

First thing Obi Wan thinks after striking down Anakin

ANAKIN struggles to pull himself up the embankment with his mechanical hand. His thin leather glove has been burned off. He keeps sliding down in the black sand.

OBI-WAN: (continuing) . . . You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would, destroy the Sith, not join them. It was you who would bring balance to the Force, not leave it in Darkness.

OBI-WAN picks up Anakin's light saber and begins to walk away. He stops and looks back.

ANAKIN: I hate you!

OBI-WAN: You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you.

....so powerful

That waspretty good acting by obi there.
