Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can ever imagine"
Obi Wan to Vader in Episode IV

I'm just so happy that it makes perfect sense now!

I can't wait to see it for a third time... Lol, I love that movie regardless of plot holes!!!

Okay, is it just me, though, or did Anakin seem impossibly malleable and was connived almost farcically with Palpatine?

I really enjoyed the movie though...

Randomly-- Anakin supposedly means "Warrior" according to George Lucas, while Padme is a bit of an alteration from the Sanskrit word for "Lotus".

Tee hee... I love learning the meanings of names... Luke means "light" from Latin (it is an alteration of Lucas- looks like Georgie wrote in an idealistic version of himself), and Leia means "weary" from Hebrew.

I can get Luke, but not so much Leia... Ah well.

<3 R2D2.

<3 Yoda.

<3 Mace Windu.

Who was Windu again, the Wesley Snipes on the Jedi council (guy with the purple light saber)???

Another awesome scene was when R2 took down the droids by setting them on fire with oil... that was hilarious!

If you go to ytmnd.com you will see loads of them with vader's classic "NOOOOOOOOOO!"

Haha...well, Samuel L. Jackson, not Wesley Snipes, but whatever.

Yeah, he's pretty awesome. If for nothing else then for his name, Mace Windu...

I'm from England and even i noticed that...

Obi Wan to Vader in Episode IV

"

I don't understand why it makes sense...could you explain?

well, obi would gain immortality if he dies and therefore would be able to achieve an ability that only Jedi can get andnot anyone on the Dark Side

It all just makes sense! At last its WHOLE! I hope they don't try and spawn some new television series from the Star Wars franchise.

it's already in the making

I need them to make Episodes VII - IX... ;)

:)

aren't they going to make a cartoon about it?

a Bad version...

Did anyone find Anakin's character to be incredibly sad. After seeing episode III, I can't help but feel bad for the guy. He needed a therapist, not the dark side.

I actually saw Episode I to VI in "correct" numerical order.

I know most people would say the original trilogy is still better, but I can't say which I like better.

Collectively, the fighting scenes in IV-VI were better. I found myself getting bored with some of them in II and especially in I.

To me it seems like the brunt of the story happened in III, and I definitely think Episodes I & II would have been better if they were either combined (which I guess would throw off the numbering) or shortened.

The humor in Episodes IV to VI was much better. Han Solo and Princess Leia and their bickering are absolutely charming together. Her comment about Chewey being a 6ft carpet was hilarious. And Yoda having turned senile and beating R2D2 with a stick... hilarious!

Hayden Christensen is my favorite actor and I like Natalie Portman too. So as a soppy romantic, I really enjoyed their scenes together. But it was definitely corny/cheesey and they probably could have put some humor into their love story at least in the earlier episodes.

There was a lot more drama (good drama) in I to III, which I personally liked. It definitely made me appreciate and understand IV to VI better.

I also enjoyed seeing the all the Jedi Knights... they're so cool! I'm guessing George Lucas based the way of the Jedi on Taoism and other eastern religions?

My favorite parts in episode III were when (as everyone already mentioned):
- Yoda climbs on Chewey's arm
- Yoda loses his cape
- Padme and Anakin scenes
- You were the chosen one!
- the clones turned on all the Jedi

In Episode VI (I think) Leia says she remembers that her mom was kind but sad. Is this supposed to mean that she had memories of Padme just right after she was born?

One thing that bugged me was that they were building the Death Star almost 20 years before it was finished. Of course, a project of that magnitude would take some time, but they managed to build the Death Star II in much, MUCH less time. Chronologically, it doesn't make much sense. And don't try to argue that "well, they'd already done it before the second time." It still doesn't account for the massive difference in construction time.

I'm sure there are many more plot holes we just haven't found yet.

grapeful.....i'm watching episoe VI like right now. That's a HUGE plot hole. Luke says he has no memory of his mother, which makes sense, but Leia says that her mother died when she was very little. Unless she meant she remembers her mother when she was 10 minutes old.....you get the picture. Oh well....i guessit would have been impossible to avoid that one!

I know!!! That really ticked me off!! Grrr... we spend so much money on your movies, George and you still manage plot holes... But we heart them anyways.

Also, I am proud to say I have seen it 3 times. My ambition is to see it six times. So I'm half way there. Yay...
