Starting to stress a little on friends acceptance

My daughter’s best friend applied to Bama and hasn’t got the student tab yet.

She has a high GPA (over 3.5) but got low 20’s on ACT (21 I think).

My daughter did not get stats for UA scholarships (even though she has 3.8 GPA, she got a 24 on ACT). We have a full tuition/book/fee scholarship from another source, so not a killer.

Daughter did get student tab first day, but mother graduated there and sister is currently there - not sure that plays into anything.

The girls have planned on going to college together for years, and the friend has accompanied us for Bama games in the past.

Officially worried – hopefully that would be enough to get into school without a scholarship, but I don’t know if there is a “minimal” - maybe someone else does know.

RTR

BAMAAF, Your D has time to take the ACT again…if she gets the desired results her Scholarship would be applied to room and board, any remaining funds would be refunded.

I would think your D’s friend should also retake the ACT.
