Hi, I am currently attending Mission College (Santa Clara, CA)/Evergreen Valley College (San Jose, CA). For the Econ pre-req, I want to take all 3 math courses (2 Calcs and 1 Stats) but I can not find any articulated stats course besides De Anza College which it's not even offered this year.

Do you guys know where i can find the articulated stats course somewhere near by? (I've gone onto assist and tried Foothill College, San Jose City College, Westvalley College and Ohlone College)

Thank you very much! Good luck to all of you!

^Seriously. Calc-based stats, from what I've seen, seems to be a rarity at CC. I don't think it would be to much hassle to just take it after you transfer.

you can't do that even if you wanted to. sorry.

you HAVE to take one math prereq at berk. so even if you find a calc based stats class at cc (which you won't) you would have to take another math class at berk anyways. so don't bother.

Oh!! That was a response to JPNguyen. But anyways... I have asked two different berkeley reps and one admission specialist the same Q. They all responded with a yes?

Chances are; if you cannot enroll into a stats course and you live in a metropolitan area, then just about everyone else will not be able to. So it would not hinder your chances of being accepted. I understand that you want to take the course. The best bet would be to take it at a UC such as UCB/UCSF during the summer(but that's out of the question I presume)

All right!! Thanks guys! My intention is not to take any maht related course in CAL because... let 's just say I would rather take it at a community college... Ha!

Well, yeah, that's kinda obvious. I'm kind of in the same predicament in that I want to take at least some of the engineering courses I'd have to take at a UC while I'm in community college, but not even the biggest CCs seem to have them. Bummer.

yeah if your point is to take it at community college then forget it. if you are willing to take it over the summer at a 4 year college then you can do it. but from what you said, that defeats the purpose.
