I'm premed, thinking about majoring in economics. It says that Stats 20,* 21,* 21X,* 25 fulfill the econ stats requirement. Does Stats 2 also fulfill this or not? Also, which stats class would be acceptable for med schools, such as UCLA that require stats? Which is easier, Stats 20, or 21? Thanks

I heard somewhere that Stats 21x over the summer was the easier option.

It is better to decide now one over the other and keep in mind that the premed classes at Berkeley will take a lot of time away from pursuing any other type of non-science major.

I’m already done with my first year, and I have realized that. I’m done with my breadths, and my premed requirements will be near done this spring. So I figured that I might as well major in econ since I likei it more than MCB or IB, yet I’m considering med school. I figure, I’d take stats this fall, econ 1 in the spring, and econ 100a the following fall.
