I'm an incoming senior and planning to apply to ucsd with a sociology major. I just want to see of my stats relate to those of people who was admitted with the major. Please don't tell me majors have nothing to do with my admission because I know! Thank you :)

That data isn’t published and it is unlikely you will get any meaning out a data point or two here. But if you must try then go to the State college section for CA.

I don’t mean to offend, but that isn’t a difficult major so likely the other students have average stats for the school.

The OP can believe anything she likes, but for anyone else applying to UCSD and wondering how their major affects their chances of admission

My son was interested in Poli. Sci., which I imagine would have comparable stats. He was accepted, from out-of-state, with a UC-weighted GPA of slightly over 4.0 (I never knew exactly - maybe 4.1), and unweighted GPA of 3.3-3.4. He was in a full-IB program, with outstanding leadership ECs. He had a 2060 SAT and 31 ACT. Earl Warren College was his first choice at UCSB, and he was admitted into it. He is not attending. He was also accepted into UC Davis, but rejected from UC Berkeley (which he always knew was a reach).
