Stats to have a shot at McDonough biz school at G-Town ??

A number of folks lately have said "don't bother applying to G-Town for biz, impossible to get in.." My son, a junior now, really likes the school and will probably apply anyway in the fall. He has decent stats, 4.6(w), 15 of 575, 1430/2140 on SAT I ( he took it over again recently to try to bump it up ).
Good ECs.. editor of paper, varsity tennis, member of JSA, some other stuff.
He will only have 2 SAT IIs, though unless he takes a 3rd. Does G-Town look favorably as to interviews or are they irrelevant ? Thanks. J

I don't know much about the admission standards at the business school, but your son's numbers look good to me. In my opinion, getting in has alot to do with the high school you are coming from and the relationship between the two schools. In terms of interviews, I've heard they can be very important especially if your son is meeting with an influential alumni.

Thanks DC. We will visit DC again soon and look into a few things. I would have no problem sending him to G-Town or GW. ( IF I was 30 years younger, that's where I would head to..lol ). Thanks. Best of luck. Marc

The interview is very important for Georgetown...because it is REQUIRED. :-)
