I want to visit BC before I apply there, and I was wondering if there were any programs or something that could have me stay in one of the dorm rooms for a night because I would be flying over to BC. Does anyone know anything about this?

To my knowledge, BC does not have a formal overnight visitation program. (With 32,000 applicants each year, there’s just no way it could handle the sheer volume of prospective students.) However, if you have any contacts with current students (even “a friend of a friend”), they might be willing to put you up for the night. If you don’t know anyone, ask your high school guidance counselors if there are any recent graduates from your school attending BC and to put you in touch with them.

And while you are there, you should definitely do the “Day Visit” program where they pair you up with a student for a few hours. (You attend a class with them, go on an informal tour of campus, see their dorm room, etc.) It will give you a much more personal – and honest! – view of the school than the formal tour and Eagle Eye session.

Of course, these options would only apply if you are visiting during the academic school year.

okay thank you worried mom!
