APUSH
AP Chemistry
AP Statistics
English 3 Honors [highest level of English available for juniors at my school]Trig/Pre-Calc
Accounting

*I was supposed to take French 3 this year, but because my school only offered French 3 7th period, and AP Chemistry was only offered 7th period, I was forced to choose between the two. I'm also taking AP Chemistry at a school in my district about 15 minutes away because my high school does not offer it. So I have to spend my lunchtime driving there every other day because of block scheduling

Classes my senior year:
AP English
AP Physics
AP Calculus AB
AP Government
French 3

** I had to take a Fine Art to graduate. This is probably waste of a period :/

Thanks in advance!

try applying to Wharton while you're at it

Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah Wharton has been my number one choice so far, but I'm not sure if
a) I can even get in
b) If I want to apply early decision [since that apparently increases my chances?]
c) If I can handle the competition there

:/

Okay, let us make one thing clear.
I have two friends who got into Wharton this year with similar stats to urs.
And if you don't apply to Wharton early, then u will regret for sure. Try Wharton, and even if you don't get in, your chance for Stern in regular decision is still awfully high.

my suggestion apply to your hyps as well as wharton, stern, MIT, and UC berkely, umich ross, uva mcintire

some two year programs will garantees you a spot if you are smart

for example i was garanteed a spot at kenan flagner(unc chapel hill)

nyu superscores i think.. go ed on wharton so that i have a better chance at ed stern lol

haha
Wow! Thanks for all the advice!

Theodred: Yeah, I think I will definitely take that into consideration...I still need to visit UPENN first though, to see if I like the campus or not. I heard penn was big on Greek life. Something like 1/3 of the students are in sororities/fraternaties. I don't know if I'm into that sort of thing...haha. Who knows.

Zoolander: WOWW haha. I'm pretty certain I'm not going to apply to HYPS. Stanford used to be my dream school, but it doesn't even have an undergradutate business school, so I don't think it's the right school for me. Plus, it only accepts like OUTSTANDING students haha so I might just apply there for my MBA, I don't know. I'm definitely applying to the top tier UCs, [Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego...]. Berkeley has Haas, which is pretty good, but it's not really guaranteed that I will get into Haas just because I get into Berkeley, so that seems like kind of a risk.

bay-area: Oh thanks! I didn't know NYU superscored haha.

What is superscoring?

Taking the best scores of each section.

Okay so just an update...

I took my SAT-II MATH2C and got an 800
BUT
I got a 690 on my Chemistry so I have to take that again in October...

My mom also spoke with a college admissions advisor [the kind you pay lots of money for an interview for them to chance you] and he basically told me I'd have almost no chance at Wharton ED...

How much easier is it to get into Stern RD than Wharon? [Because I think I'm still going to TRY for Wharton ED but just not get my hopes up] Would you say Stern is about just as hard to get into as UC Berkeley? [which I am also applying to]

You have great stats and have an great chance at Stern RD, so you should definitely apply to Wharton ED.

Can't Tell you much about UC Berkeley. Sorry.

Stern superscores, but seriously, do you think 10 points will make a difference?

you have a really good chance with stern, but since wharton's your first choice, I would do ED if I were you.

I'd say you would have a great shot
