Hey Guys,
I'm sure there must be threads on this, but any opinions as to what is better? NYU Stern or UT BHP. I live in texas, so UT would be a lot cheaper, but NYU provides a lot of real world experience.

What do you guys think?

Hey Guys,

I think Stern would be better for Wall Street placement, but BHP is amazing as well. Thats a tough call.

i would personaly pick bhp since its allloot cheaper for instate as opposed to the 50k u'll be paying at stern. Also ut will be fun as opposed to the unfrienlyness of the stern ppl i've heard, and ut bhp will get u into wall street also its one of the best programs. Pick BHP

If in-state, BHP. No need to pay for Stern.

more bang for your buck at BHP if you're in state. Did you get in to BHP (can you get in as freshman or do you have to apply after you're already in McCombs)?

If you are in BHP and you want to go to Wall Street, you can do that no problem.

And, if you are in BHP and want to go consulting, corporate, law/med school, you can do that and be very successful as well. I'd pick BHP, but I'm a little biased. Have you visited the campus yet? Were you in Austin for Discover BHP last weekend?

BHP has companies like Blackstone recruiting. Stern doesnt have that, Plus BHP is a much smaller program. I would choose BHP 100%. - DAN

It seems as if most of you are saying BHP. I did accept at Texas and am a freshman in the business honors program.

I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.

Thank you for all of your help.

Nice choice. Have fun at Texas.

Can someone please tell me the pre-reqs for Stern? I plan on applying next year, but have to take my courses this year accordingly. Thanks!
