<p>My D received this e-mail too. I’m not sure it is a good omen – you might read between the lines and interpret as a “Not Likely Letter”

<p>Only one person I know out of 10-15 applicants got this email. My friend got the email last Wednesday. It is really weird that only a few people got it though.</p>

<p>Looks like the hoax/rumor mill is at work here. If you look at the letters side by side, only the middle paragraph is the same. The opening and closing paragraphs have changes. Who would do this and why? Someone had to spend some time changing the email.</p>

<p>I just noticed the similarities between the Duke/Brown letters, my friend forwarded the email to me. If anyone wants to see the original email you can PM me, I wasn’t trying to create false rumors.</p>

<p>they’ll be releasing their decisions on march 29th at 6pm. you’ll get two emails on march 25th with your PIN and password. it says so here:</p>

<p>wow they WOULD put the news up on that page, expecting people to obsessively check every website possible for the answer. they could’ve put the news up on the undergraduate admissions homepage (which i was checking constantly) but no.</p>

<p>and boo, monday is quite late. but at least we know now!</p>
