<p>seriously, I just wanna know by now. it’s really tough to focus on papers and exams. I swing between “oh there’s still a chance” to “I didn’t get in and they just haven’t told me yet”. grrrrrr</p>

<p>I have applied to their Visual Communications program and I am depending on being accepted. They say that normally admittance is supposed to be reported anywhere from Apr. 1- May 1, but impacted majors (including Visual Communications) may take longer. I am unable to plan much of my future due to the lack of information coming from them. It’s beyond frustrating, and I have been sprinting to the mailbox every day and checking my email all too often. I also sign on to check my application status once a day. If I don’t get anything by May 1st, I will be calling them and inquiring. Anyone else applying to the same major? </p>

<p>Two people in my class heard back earlier this afternoon, both engineering majors. SFSU didn’t even send them an email updating them about it; they had to check their app status themselves. Hope you all hear back soon</p>
<p>well i guess i gotta pay for intent to enroll fee for san jose now… terrible, sf state is terrible for doing this to us, 70 bucks down the drain. hopefully it is down the drain because i wanna go to san jose</p>

<p>did anyone else get any news? and anyone having trouble logging into their sfstate email? the one they provided me does not work when i try to sign into the email, but when i use it as on the gateway website it works. </p>

<p>i have received my financial aid award yesterday but have still not been given the green checkmark from sfsu. does that mean i’m in? anyone out there with a similar experience?</p>
<p>i’m applying for an impacted major as a transfer student, but i’m kind of in a situation because i completed most of my lower division work at sfsu a few years back. i left for personal reasons and did 5 classes this fall/spring at a community college in socal to finish up where i left off. </p>
<p>note, might help others in a similar situation: a few weeks back i received a notice in my inbox saying my application had been withdrawn because i had not submitted all my docs in time, blasphemy! i called and it got sorted. the day AFTER my app status changed to “complete” after months of it being incomplete. the lady on the phone mentioned that that would be happening to more students because of their new system. she also said the the social work dept should have their responses in by that friday (apr 18). still waiting.</p>
<p>new students: watch out for parking!!! i mean it! pay for it if you’re gonna be there all day instead of trying to switch parking spots because they will catch you if you go over the parking limit, even if it’s 15-30 mins. it’ll save you time and money in the long run. happened to me and so many others i know lol :(</p>
