<p>It's May 20th and i still haven't heard if i am off the wait list or not. I just read that someone was notified on May 13th that they were off the wait list and accepted. Does that mean my chance of being accepted is less?</p>
<p>Also, i'm freaking out about housing (i want to apply to the Global Village--is it too late?)
as well as freshmen orientation (will i miss the chance of getting the classes i want?). </p>

<p>I was in a similar situation in April of last year. The best thing to do is call the admissions office and have them re-evaluate your application. Try to talk to an admissions director (not counselor) if possible, to expedite the decision.</p>
<p>I already did and they wont give me an answer ( even my counselor called and had the same outcome). They just tell me that they are delegating now and there is no definite date on which i’ll know :(</p>
<p>I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I know of a few students that were not notified they were off the wait list at IU until June last year.</p>
