I applied to stony brook in december and got my rejection letter on march 27. I really want to enroll in stony brook, i dont know what lead to this decision, pls help.

I know my GPA is low, but im getting better every year. I have 95 during my junior year and 96right now (senior yr)
I’m sorry you’re disappointed. Stony Brook is getting pretty competitive. Were you accepted to any affordable schools?
Yea, binghamton, UB and syracuse accepted me. However, I prefer stony brook. 
I went to Stony Brook in the late 90s (class of 2003) and I got in pretty easily with a 1250 and a 85 GPA, Stony Brook has gotten really competitive!
Also, Binghamton was a lot harder to get into back then.I’m sorry you didn’t get into SB, but UB and Binghamton remain really good options.
You are right, UB and Binghamton are really good options, however, Stony Brook remain as my my first choice. I already send in my appeal letter, hope everything goes well and I can be accepted!
