Same question. Everyone that got accepted seems to be a declared major. I applied undecided and am scared those applications are looked at last, after every seat is filled. Anyone know how undecided students are admitted?
Wait so the admissions counselors aren’t the ones who admit you?
omg my apologies when you said counselor i thought you meant like a school guidance counselor lol. the admission counselors admit you but it’s a committee of people. your arent assigned one person. if by the spring time you don’t get an answer i would contact them. but it’s pretty normal to get a decision around this time and in February
I don’t even have access to the portal yet.
when did u submit ur app? maybe check ur emails
3 days ago
you’ll get the email soon it usually takes around a week
Looking forward to it. Thanks!
ohh ok cause I was like then who decides lol. But I hope they get back to me soon
Do missing additional Honors program materials hold up review of the application?
No. My son received his acceptance before he submitted his honors essay.
no they don’t hold up your regular app. im waiting until my acceptance to write my honors essay lol
has anyone got accepted without sending test scores?
Yes my son applied test optional.
aw thats great, congrats to him! do you mind sharing his stats? im just worried about if they will accept me🤞🏽
Anyone here get accepted with a low gpa and high sat?
Yes sure. Since he applied test optional he tried to beef up application with extra recommendation letters and his personal statement was health care focused to really show passion for the major and I think he did a good job in his overall application showing who he is as a person. He went to an art high school (film) non specialized high school. Also not sure if it matters he is a first generation college student because I grew up in Europe and didn’t attend university.
