I come from a small alternative high school program in suburban New York with a graduating class of 21. In that class there are only five guys, three of us are applying to Pomona. While this is not particularly meaningful, it is strange given we are applying to completely different schools in all but two cases. But more seriously, if we were all qualified, I'm not sure we all are, would Pomona knock us for this reason? (And no we didn't apply this way on purpose!)

Of the four applicants from D's school last year (2 ED and 2 RD), three were accepted (2 ED and 1 RD). Of course, her HS was exponentially larger than yours, but she had the same thoughts. You'll be compared against the entire applicant pool, not just from your school.

Good luck!
