Because I find this stuff interesting.

I've been reading reports on how our generation, the Millennial Generation, is the statistically the most stressed-out generation. I am interested in hearing your experiences and opinions as they relate to this (keeping in mind that the CC community is not a microcosm of the American high-school aged population).

Some questions I'd like to read some answers to (or just to start a discussion):
In what grade are you?
What type of school to you attend?
How many hours of sleep do you get per night?
On a scale of 0 to 10, the latter being the most stressed, how stressed are you on average?
On "stressful" days, how stressed do you feel on average?
Any reasons for the above numbers?
Considering a typical non-summer month, what is the rough percentage of days you feel stressed?
Do you view this stress as a positive or a negative thing?
Do you think you have gotten more or less stressed throughout high school?

I'll start.
In what grade are you? 12th.
What type of school to you attend? Private, day, co-ed, college-prep.
How many hours of sleep do you get per night, on average? 3 to 4.
On a scale of 0 to 10, the latter being the most stressed, how stressed are you on an average day? 5.
On "stressful" days, how stressed do you feel on average? 9.
Any reasons for the above numbers? Demanding courseload, extracurriculars, two part-time jobs, et cetera et cetera.
Considering a typical non-summer month, what is the rough percentage of days you feel stressed? 80%
Do you view this stress as a positive or a negative thing? When in small bits, I think it's a great motivator. But when I get too stressed I loose motivation to do anything, in which case it's obviously a negative thing to me.
Do you think you have gotten more or less stressed throughout high school? Stress built up until junior year but has since dropped down significantly (WOO).

Looking forward to seeing your answers and possibly discussing.
