Well, I've got four HUGE tests coming up the week after Thanksgiving (one on Wednesday, three on Friday) as well as two SAT II's and I'm going nuts trying to study for them all (each test covers about 120+ pages of textbook material). I have actually, for the first time in my life, begun studying a week in advance but it all seems so overwhelming. So I was wondering two things:

First, how do all of you handle stress?

And second, how do you relax and de-stress?

I'm a steamcooker who can't function well without stress. Stress will make you study and persevere harder, and imagining that you'll gonna be a dumpster operator 4 lyf if you get anything lower than a 90 helps tremendously =D. Or just study a ton and soon enough you'll start to become enamoured with the contents and see the sheer beauty in math and science. Find ways to relate it to life. I used to hate French but now I'm ecstatic because I can read Harry Potter in French!! From time to time take a herbal bath and get a massage, I suppose. But there's really no need to de-stress.

yeah i like stress.. it makes feel grown up and proffessional and busy and important.. yeah i dont know why..

De stressing for me - lots of energy drinks + going out with friends. That's a good combo because that makes you have more fun and hyper. Also, party pills (legal) + parties. Headache pills + sleep. Bath + music + singing. Singing in the bathroom makes my voice sound so good.

i think of it as a challenge. when i feel challenged i feel like doing trying it really hard so it doesn't really stress although this "challenge feeling" has led me to procrastinate to "challenge" myself even more.

For me, I found exercise helps a ton with stress. I think it's because of the endorphins or something but after I start sweating I feel a lot more relaxed and can focus more on my schoolwork.

this is from my experience. you should never stress out. youll tend to do better if you don't
you still got a week to study, so why don't you plan how to study for it.
i use to stress out during beginning of year because i had like 8tests a week due to 2 weeks i missed.
you should first divide your class up to really hard class, normal, and class that don't matter.
for normal classes just start studying a little from now and look over before the test date. for hard class just study 1 hour a day and 2, 3 hours respectively before the test day. for easy classes , i usually go over notes and main ideas a period or two before the class for 40 min. then depending on your class, you could adjust the time.
it all comes down to your time management. studying for a test for 30 min and another for 30 min won't do you no good.
