dealing with stress

anyone have any remedies for stress?

I don't know i feel like school has gotten to be too much. .i am getting good grades.. but i constantly wotty about my gpa..

Haha, we are in the same boat.

When I get stressed, I put on my favorite song, stop everything that I am doing and I just think. And I usually put things in perspective and realize that my life could be so so much worse and I am so fortunate just to even go to school and get some form or education. I could be in Darfur where all these tradgedies are happening and it just makes me realize that the 'B+' I got on my English test or whatever else it may be isn't so bad afterall.

I agree but sometimes.. its hard especially if you work really hard and the end result isn't what you envisioned. Thank you though.. I'll try listening to music :]

anyone else? please..

Yeah, that is true, but life isn't perfect. You just have to roll with the punches and now that it is all going to work out in the end. Even if it isn't your plan, it is some 'higher power's' plan and they know what is best for you.

Wow, 'and Know' that it is all going to work out in the end, I know how to use the work know I promise.

I'm coming to the end of my high school career and I've never been more tired or stressed than I am this year. Senioritis hasn't set it, school is simply too much. My comfort? Trusting that somehow, someway, things will work out in the end. You WILL make it through - you have so far, this isn't going to be your downfall.

Artistic projects, of any kind, are a great stress reliever for me.

Try to meditate! Works for me!

go running during the day

Computer games!

Listen to Don't Worry, Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin.
You can find the video on youtube. Great song.

listen to music
step away from the work and do something fun for yourself and try to forget about what u have to do. when u come back, ull have a renewed energy (maybe lol)

Running always stressed me out even more because while I was running I felt okay, but once I was done I'd always be like "omg that was 30 minutes I could have been finishing up homework!" I tried getting away from the work and all, but that leaves me with the same "holy **** I have a ****load to do, why did I take a break?" feeling.

The stress doesn't fully go away until maybe Friday, but before then just take it one step at a time and start working on whatever is stressing you out most. Whatever assignment is bothering you, do that. Once you're done, you'll feel less stressed. Also, put on music and every time something good comes on, take a tiny dance break.

Listen to some music....I always feel better after I listen to rock music, it seems to make everything okay. :)

Clear your head. I disagree with just doing what it is that's making you stressed; you're going to do the assignment worse than you would if you were focused on doing it well rather than just doing it.

Go outside. Just step outside for a minute and breathe in good, deep breaths and focus on where you are at that moment. Your homework and college applications are a world away because you are thinking only about the air and the surrounding noise and the sheer physicality of everything.
Come back inside and just sit down and work. Think about the work, not about how you NEED to finish it and not about how it's going to affect your GPA or whatever. It is one assignment, one thing that you need to do, and just see it as that.

thanks guys hopefully itll help me out :]

Push through and just think about how much sleep you'll get the next day.

concentrate all your energy in pressing your hands together and then abruptly push your hands forward...
worked for me :)
