Stuck...

So before I got accepted to Davis, I was pretty set on going there...but now that I'm in, I'm starting to have some doubts. Here's the situation - I'm going to be transferring for my final year, I'm a pre-med/bio major, I'm currently volunteering at UCI's free clinic and CHOC...basically I don't want to regret any decision that I make. If Davis has similar opportunities and such, then I'll feel more comfortable with transferring. The initial reason for transferring was my parents want me to be closer to home (in case bad stuff goes down) and it'll be slightly cheaper (housing and transportation costs). I will basically be starting from scratch, and academically wise, it is not going to be that difficult since after this coming spring quarter I will only have to take the bare minimum each quarter for my 4th year to complete my major. There are times where I feel tired of being at Irvine, so it could be a decent "change of scenery." But I feel that isn't a good enough reason...

Are there any advantages one school has over the other? Any suggestions/opinions?

I don’t think there are many people that can help you with this decision. Only you really know whats best for you.

What he said

Yeah- What THEY Said. Davis ranks slightly higher than Irvine, not by much, though. I don’t know if that is something you are taking into consideration.

Yeah I realized that - it was kind of a hard question to answer…everyone I’ve talked to has told me that it comes down to which school I feel would better suit me. I’ll probably go to one of their decision day events in April and go from there. Thanks.
