Hey people, first of all I'm sorry if this is the wrong area, this is my first post.
My question is pretty simple; Would I be able to get a student loan without a co-signer with my current credit score of 675?

Thanks.

You can get a Direct Loan of $5500 as a freshman without a cosigner. That is a student only loan…if you are a U.S. citizen or green card holder.

In terms of private student loans, your credit rating is not as important as your current income, and your collaterol. Do you have a nice income that the bank could count on tapping to repay that loan? Do you have significant collaterol (property, money in the bank, or,other assets) that a bank could use to repay your loan if you don’t? If not, you will need a qualified cosigner for any private student loan.
