I have an opportunity to serve as a Student representative to the Board of Directors, generally speaking how will this be regarded on a college application? Regardless, I plan on doing it because my district does have some fund allocation issues :))
is the Board of Directors the school committee? I would put that on a college app. It would probably look good. I would also make sure to clarify what the board of directors is for since that may not be a common term if it is a school committee.
