I just realized that I forgot to send in my SAT scores, but I submitted my app on 12/30/08. I sent in my scores just now, and I want to know if they'll review my app as if I sent it today instead of 12/30/08.

yes, they only start reviewing the application once they've recieved all of the requirements.

Alright, then do I still have a shot? UM GPA: 3.95; SAT: 800M, 700CR, 750W; SAT II: 800 chem, 790 physics, 790 math 2; no leadership EC's, but I'm a part of a few clubs (significant hours tutoring in Beta Club, and several years and awards from Math/Sci bowl); many other academic awards; toughest course load (10 AP's by graduation and all others are honors). I'm from WV if that matters, and I know that this is a really brief description, but I want to know if I can still count on Mich being a semi-safety.

I think you have a shot, though your chances have significantly dipped. If you had submitted everything in mid/early November or early December, they would have admitted you in a heartbeat.

I guess I'm not surprised at hearing that, but does anyone know what the acceptance rate is for applicants applying around now as opposed to November?

Plus the UMich deadline is 2/1 anyway, right?

Yeah, 2/1 is the deadline.

I think you got excellent stats, but the delay will hurt you.

I think you should most likely get in now...worst case scenerio is that you get deferred or waitlisted n then accepted.
