stupid question..plz help

I talked to my counselor about taking classes at the community college for credit. She said my school gives credit for taking classes at a community college but does not for online classes.

When she says the school gives credit, this means that it will show up on my transcript and it will count for my GPA right? So an A in a CC course, is a 5?

What do you mean by this?

well if it counts for my GPA, what would an A in a CC course be worth? A 4 or a 5?

Each school has a different way of weighing CC courses. At my school, depending on the course, it can be counted as regular or honors.

You'll certainly have to talk to your school about the way they calculate GPAs for CC classes.

You'd have to ask your school, since they all differ when dealing with your GPA and CC classes.
